As is obvious from my previous post, I have not found that to be the case. I
am currently a Midget driver, and an active member of the Smoky Mountain
Austin Healey Club, an affiliate of the Austin Healey Club of America. I
have been nothing but accepted in the club, and was Drive Captain on a drive
last year, my Midget leading the Healeys and a Sprite through the TN
mountains. Never, never have I heard a condescending word! Only comaraderie
and acceptance.
I am aware that this condition does exist in some corners, but not here. You
just have to see it as an affliction of the condescender and not the
condescendee!!!! In other words, it's THEIR problem, not Mine!! 8^)
