Well, a couple of reasons James.
Firstly, the old ones I had were on the car that got totalled and although I
had access to them, they would have cost me something. Also, the warranty
through Tokico requires you to return the strut to them for
repair/replacement and these are getting harder and harder to find as Tokico
IIRC discontinued making them.
