I had no idea how common this problem is. The 3rd gen RX-7s were also
prone to it. Mazda competition made a swaybar mount reinforcement
bracket that many people (including myself) installed. I thought it was
just an RX-7 thing but apparently not.
I've known a few people who've had MR-2s, all of whom drove the cars
hard on a regular basis, and none of them had any complaints. They're
not tremendously powerful but the turbo would seem a great buy because
turbocharged cars tend to make a lot more power with only simple mods.
