After sanding the primer coat before top coat, what is a prefered method for removing the primer dust? Other than washing since I don't want to unmask my entire engine bay and engine at this point.

I use PPG Acryli-Clean (also available in other brands, such as NAPA 6387 FIN-L-WASH). It gets rid of all the crud including any grease, wax or tar that would otherwise cause fish-eyes. Joe

From my experience, the primer should be wet sanded anyways, the only way IMHO to get it flawlessly smooth. Needless to say, with all the water going around, all it takes is some more water to get it

I'm definitely confused.... Keith already has the primer on the car. What's the use of trying to wipe the silicone off the car now? ( I'm assuming the primer is fresh, and unsoiled...) I'd still stay
