Could well be. Tell you what, rebuild your transmission, fill it up with this stuff and run it 5 years, then tear it down and check for wear. Then explain why we should use it instead of $2.50/quart

I agree with Randall 100%. I've been into too many Pennzoil / Quaker State engines that were full of sludge. And these were engines that had regular oil changes! I prefer Valvoline synthetic myself..
