Four-year frame-off restoration is coming back together, put tub back on chassis New Years Eve. Just got around to the gas tank. I had sandblasted some rust on the bottom of the tank, over the diff.

I used them for a Mercedes station wagon in '82. (that would be "protection" since the car was only a year old). Sold the car in '91 -- NO rust anywhere. I thought it was well worth it. Cheers. Art K
