This may be too general of a question, but what should the ballpark idle be for a TR6 with a mild streetcam, header, and Zennith Stomburgs? Are there any other factors that would need to be considere

You may have leaky throttle shaft bushings. Check them for wear. I assume you have the high idle while the idle screws are removed. Somehow you are getting air into the engine, so if it's not coming

You'd think so, wouldn't you? My only explanation is the balance connection in the intake manifold; arguably enough fuel/air mixing went on in the manifold itself to get some fuel from the rear carb
