- Andy Mace brings up an interesting point: "Similarly, my GT6+ and most all that I've ever seen IN THE U.S. do NOT have the extra front millboard valance with the two holes for the hoses to the airbox

- My airbox does not have the two holes for the hoses. I did see one this weekend at a brit car show and the guy said he got his from a tr7. Of course my tr6 is a 76 so perhaps Phil yours being a 71 mi

- My '72 TR-6 did not have the "hose fittings" on the airbox, however, the TR-250 I parted out did have them. The only "cold air induction" I've ever seen on a TR-6, other than a custom installation,

- My '70 TR6's airbox has the 2 cylindrical feeders at the front (but not the flexible hoses). It also has the rectangular openings on the back side of the airbox. The Haynes TR250/6 manual shows this

- GT6 MkIII had the hoses, similar arrangement to 2000 MkI and early (stromberg carb) MkII's. -0600 Regards Ian
