FYI
My '72 TR-6 did not have the "hose fittings" on the airbox, however, the
TR-250 I parted out did have them. The only "cold air induction" I've
ever seen on a TR-6, other than a custom installation, was on PI cars.
I toyed with the idea of using the TR-250 airbox, and routing some cool
air to the engine even though I was concerned that the hose fittings are
rather smallish for the purpose. It turned out that the 250 airbox
would not fit on the TR-6 due to the carb mounting holes being offset
towards the top. This puts the airbox too low to clear the inner fender
(wing).
