The stock 260 with Ford 2 bbl had 164 HP. The stock 289 with Ford 2 bbl had 200 HP. Do the math.

Removing the cam from a Ranger with the 2.3 mighty 4 is just as bad. The cam is too long to clear the front of the engine. You must pull the radiator or lift the engine. Been there, done that. Dave J

Go down to Sears and buy a 1 7/16 3/4 drive socket. Then a 3/4 to 1/2 adapter and 1/2 to 3/8 if you need to. The small nut nut on the middle line is 3/4. Make sure you have new a small gasket to fit

Don't connect anything without knowing where it goes. It'll let the smoke out of the wiring the makes electricity work. The CAT wiring diagram show those wires being used with the turn signal switch

The hardtop will fit fine. The 67 Top will have small metal pieces on the inside under the back window that the boot cover straps clip into. You MK I with its metal boot covers didn't have the straps

If it has an assessable nut, use a nut splitter are crack the nut. Remove the nut and then use a hammer and drive the bolt out.
