I'm sure the net guru's will have specific cutoff numbers but from
what I have seen: The MK I started with embossed bottles.
The MK IA had the painted Tudor bottles. But I have seen many
original MK IA with the embossed bottles. I believe the painted bottle
was an engineering change (cheaper?) with use old stock until exhausted
on the assembly line. Thus some early MK IA's may have the old
embossed bottle. Now The MK II's have a shorter fatter painted
bottle. Then again I've seen some originals with the painted MKIA
bottle. The BON doesn't really specify. Does any know that has
proof.
