- Not speaking from any sort of experience, but I have my doubts that a painted bumper will look even remotely similar to a shiny mirror-finish chromed one, it may look more like a sort of matt silver

- Mk3 front bumpers are not the same and will probably not fit your car, at least not without significant modifications. They have different mounting points and no notches cut out of them the way Mk1

- Mk II and Mk III front bumpers are not interchangable due to differences in the way they mount- the Mk III units were mounted higher than the Mk I and II which are interchangable. Rear bumpers *will*
