I currently have my front plate mounted in the middle of the plate. I got a chrome frame to stiffen the plate and then drilled two holes directly through the plate. This is a compromise between the

I went to Radio Shack and secured some rubber feet with peel off paper that covers adhesive. I stuck two of them on the back of the plate so the rubber contacts the valance instead of the plate. --

I bolted the support onto the bumper (centered vertically) and then bolted the plate onto the support. It is high enough to clear most curbs but not high enough to restrict air to the radiator. Joe -
