When you remove the carpet, make sure to check all exposed wiring. Sounds like you must have ran a screw through something. Leaving the doors open shouldn't have caused that kind of problem. Dan Mas

When I replaced mine, I counted the threads on each end and made sure to put them back on in the same place. The alignment seems to be fine after 1 1/2 years.

Paul, I've been in the SCCA for 10 years, mostly doing Solo events. For wheels, get a set of TR7 wheels. They fit and are 5 1/2" wide. As for tires, if you're serious, get a set of Hoosier R25 tires.
