Don't forget the pads for the factory V8 have handed backing plates, I have no idea what effect fitting handed pads in a non-handed caliper or vice-versa has. PaulH. again. with TR7/8?

Not aware of any real overheating problems, even when in an MGB which does have problems getting the heat out of the engine bay. I would say if it doesn't happen in an MGB it won't happen. Short of D
