Well, well. Here I thought I knew every bolt on a T type. I was one of the guys voting for 8 x 1.0 mm metric thread based on all other bolt threads of that size being 8 x 1.0 mm on the TD/TF gearbox.

I think the thread confusion may be due to the French metric deal on the engine so we identify with the 6x 1.0 and 8 x 1.0 fasteners on the engine and mentally connect the transmission with the engin
