I thought Dave Dozier said he had some sort of ground effects with his car. I think when he put the hemi in it the added speed pulled the bottom off his 'liner. NT788 would know a lot more about this

Dan; I don't like to be negative but it is very hard for me to see the logic in restricting ignitions to a certain era and not mechanical parts. Is there a reason for this or has no one thought of it

Dan; to make my position more clear-when we built the Vega we went to a shopping center and measured cars to decide which we wanted to build. I think this is a great class as proposed for production

Dan; You might want to check with Mike on that. My understanding from him was that ALL '49 thru '81 cars would be in this new category to preclude changing categories by rerouting your sparkplug wire

The dyno has sensors for barometric pressure and tempter. Also your supposed to get dew point or something by swinging some other thing around. The instructions tell you to find the actual barometric

Kvach; Flathead Fords were 221 and 239 cubic inches. Mercs after 49 were 253 I think. Gmc engines from the late 30s were 270 easily bored to 292 cubic inches and after 51,302 cubic inches stock. You
