In my case, I had the engine sent out for rebuild. But i did notice that the top of the head has the year molded in. Just under the valve cover between the valves. See photo. Mine says 75 on one side

On mine, the door skin is about a 1/4 inch larger then the shell and is filled to make a smooth transition and to cover the seam of the shell Larry in LV -- No virus found in this incoming message.
