You should have had one of those on the number one & four inlets. Most cars don't have them anymore because of the many times the manifolds have come off. I think it's purpose was to stop any leaks

I think we've come to the conclusion that the Alpine I and II with the round hole type steel wheel came with matching body color. I assume that when the wheel style changed, so did Rootes philosophy
