- As my son and I did the steering column rebuild, we were lucky with the "sheared ignition bolts" as someone else had already slotted them. Definitely take out both the speedo and tach to get access.

- Another thing to check is your heater valve to make sure it is closed all the way. Those pull cables get weak and bend and tweak. You can do it with your finger, just push it closed. Jim Farris
