Aron, As my son and I did the steering column rebuild, we were lucky with the "sheared ignition bolts" as someone else had already slotted them. Definitely take out both the speedo and tach to get access.. We used hex head cap screws with their special "same size" lock washers to put the ignition switch back in, no drilling, filing, or fitting required.
