Let's be sure which part you are talking about. Do you mean an electronic ignition conversion or an aftermarket distributor? The TR6 distributor has a mechanical Tack output and it uses a ratio that

I have a question that probably relates to spline lock. The female portion of the half-shafts is hollow all the way out to the u-joint yoke. One of my half-shafts has a cap on the end covering the sp

I'm not sure of the EGR valve but I think that the nut on top of a vacuum canister is usually used to adjust the sensitivity if the vacuum actuator. If you moved it very much you may have adjusted th

That was the first thing I thought of when I read the original post but it sounds different enough to likely be something else. I purchased a new set of Strombergs a few years ago and immediately not

My personal opinion is that the 205/50 15 is the best tire size for a 7 inch wide rim. The 225 would go better on an 8 inch wide rim. They will work either way but best autocrossing wants wider rims.

I have an Addco sway bar on my TR6 and I agree with you that the square washers that are meant to sandwich the trailing arm in the spring perch don't look too good but I have never had a problem with

I don't know the correct offset off the top of my head but I do remember the bolt patern of 4 x 4.5 inches. The early Datsun Z cars used that bolt pattern but Saab also used it. Unfortunately all the

When I mess with the fuel lines, I find it easiest to just stick a pencil in the hose. It's a snug enough fit to prevent the gravity feed. I don't know any way to crack the fuel line without spilling
