As someone that today runs the car we raced in the 60s, I'll second this
opinion. Over the five years we raced the car in the 60s, it lost
weight, gained power, fatter tires, better suspension, better
aerodynamics (at least it lost the windshield) and was continually
evolved to the limits of the rulebook or beyond!
I remember saying one about a year ago, and getting a bit of discussion
going, that more rules simply mean more cheaters.
