I recently purchased a used gearbox w/a J-type OD, only to find that the
chassis mounting did not match. Another pit fall to consider if you
aren't handy... Driveshaft must be shortened as well.. Having said
that..70MPH at 2600
RPM is pretty sweet. I also installed a 3.45:1 ring and pinion..Â
