Some 40+ years ago I helped a friend with a TR4 swap out a standard 4 speed f=
or an overdrive transmission.=20
Didn=E2=80=99t mess with the clutch, but couldn=E2=80=99t get the OD trans i=
n.=20
Ultimately had to recenter the clutch disc.=20
Bob=E2=80=99s your uncle !! Slid right in !!
Apparently, the weight of the transmission (and our maneuvering it around) w=
as enough to jog the clutch disc off center.=20
