Actually, it matters a lot. I just found out the starters for the =
press-on ring gear have 9 teeth, whereas those for the bolt-on have 10. =
If you don=E2=80=99t get it right you=E2=80=99ll burn out the starter. =20

the other=E2=80=9D. I think Randall pointes our a few years ago that the =
hi-torque starters engage and then start to turn as opposed to the TR =
starters that spin then engage.=20
