Thanks. I'm thinking maybe I'll put my car outside on a hot sunny day in Ju=
ne with the 4 year old "shrunk" black Sunfast roof in "up" position with we=
ights hanging from the sides of the material to try to stretch it wider. Th=
en maybe I can re attach the Velcro to the side rails. If this doesn't work=
=2C I may repeat this=2C leaving the header bar free of the windshield.

From: rrochlin@comcast.net:
My experience is the same as Peter=92s. No stretch=2C but no shrinkage eit=
her. I only put my top down when I go cruising in the summer.

<I have had two sunfast tops on my TR6=2C one for about 10 years=2C the cur=
rent one for about five.I have never had a real <shrinkage problem either s=
ide to side or front to back. Over the years it will get slightly harder t=
o stretch up=2C but not <enough to really speak of. These are Robbins' sun=
fast tops. would not go back to vinyl.
<Peter Arakelian - '71 TR6=2C Daily Driver <<The main complaint I have wi=
th both the original top and the Sunfast is that the tops attach to the vel=
cro on the folding <<side rails for only about 2 years before the width of =
the top "shrinks" and becomes too narrow to even reach those side <<rails.=
