It sure makes things simple, It took me 40 years to realize it though!  You 
have to plan ahead and have the pieces made up. Then its real easy as I  
usually have to move the car anyway when I work on it.  I am going to have  to 
paint 
or stain mine though as my son has  grabbed them a coupel of times  for 
something else! Maybe Old English Oak stain with a couple coats of  varnish?
