List,
I am putting my interior dash-console back together. I seem to have
everything except the "push-starter switch". Several weeks ago I received
clarification from this list (thank you very much) that the starter solenoid
is located under the bonnet, and now I need to find a "push-starter switch"
for the dash.
Since this only has two wires, a white wire from the key-switch and
red/white from the solenoid, then I wonder if I can temporarely use a 'door
bell switch'? (Sorry if that offends anyone.)

My other question goes back to the starter solenoid. Why does it have a
depressible button on the end of it (since it's under the hood)? I think I
also misplaced the small black rubber 'bulb'-like cover that goes on the end
of the solenoid.

Thanks,
Paul Dorsey
