True. I don't know as much about TR cylinder heads, but many Herald and
Spitfire heads do have PART NUMBERS stamped in, said numbers not to be
confused with casting numbers that are literally cast into the head.

Anything else too look for? David Hammond suggested also that it was a
Vangard unit fitted to a Morgan.

Ah, that might explain the "M" as part of the suffix!?
