Well shoot Aaron, that thing's charging up your battery when it's 
free-wheeling.

I too use a pusher (as a manually-switched auxillary) and it seems to 
help when needed with no obvious problems when it's not.  Even found a 
way to still use the hand crank with the electric fan in place.
