I think we are missing a good bet by not considering the 2000cc
Toyota Celica GTS engine, 4 cyl, dbl overhead cam, 16 valve and a
RELIABLE 180 HP. Available at your local auto recycle yard (Junk
Yard) for a lot less the the S2000 Honda engine. Should just drop
right in, mated to the Toyota 5 speed.
I recently saw a BugEye Sprite with the 1600cc version of this engine
and it looked like it had been made at the factory.
