Randall, that raises an interesting question...well, to me anyway. Are we
using the same composite of bearings now as were used when the books were
written? Reason I ask, the bearings I remember rebuilding engines with (20
years ago) had a sort of soft babbit composition. The Glacier's I recently
got from BFE look scarily hard. Is the 30,000 mile bearing change as
important now?
