I would like to thank all who responded to my oil pressure question. I was
turning the
drill clockwise. After cleaning the fouled plugs I managed to get the new
rebuild running.
I was terrified and extremely happy all at the same time. Running a fresh
rebuild at 2500 rpm's
for 20 minutes yikes. Here is the next question I have a Piper 270 grind on
the cam set up at 108 degrees ATDC
how do I set the distributor advance/ retard for maximum effectiveness? I have
a timing light
or is by trial and error best?
