Some aluminum wheels ( in general ) don't have the outside hole machined
concentric with the tire bead. Have the tire shop use a lug plate then put
the wheel on the balancer. The lug plate is a machined ring of steel with
various bolt patterns.
The wheel is then centered by the lug plate rather than the wheel center.
Another solution is to put the centering cone on the inside of the wheel and
a plate on the outside, in most cases the inside of the wheel hole is
concentric with the bead.
