As I prepared to reinstall the head on my '70 Triumph
GT6+ I've stumbled...
Which side of this bloomin' gasket faces the head and
which the block? See photo:

Yes, I forgot to look at the one I removed and yes,
all the passages still line up when I flip it
front-to-back.
The gasket has an oil passage at both ends though the
block and head only have a passage at the back.
So the answer lies with those 'bridges' between the
cylinder openings on the lower image - do they face
the head or block??
