I'll add that I agree triple plating is the only way to go for street use. The
cheap plating that you normally get on a lot of replacement bumpers
and the like will not hold up to continuous exposure to moisture. Therefore it
won't be too long before you start seeing little brown patches
forming. Trailer queens that are not exposed to that sort of environment might
just do fine with single plated parts. (But I would not want to be the
test case for that)!
