After only 35 years, the top radiator hose sprung a leak! I've a good mind
to fire off a nasty note to the manufacturer!
Q: Do I need the special hose or can I get by with straight hose?
I'm guessing the original has a "bellows" shape to allow for the engine
rocking under torque stresses or maybe just for expansion room but is it
necessary? Will I be putting undue strain on my radiator with straight hose
from the local NAPA dealer?
