The commission plate on New Zealand assembled cars shows the build date and
the CKD number. They used the spaces normally used for the paint and trim
codes. The date also has a letter indicating where the car was assembled,
which is usually the letter "N", signifying Nelson where the assembly plant
was located. The CKD number is prefixed with two letters, "FR" signifying
that the car is a 2500S which was equipped with Manual O/D transmission. The
commission number is prefixed with a 3 to indicate that the car was
assembled in New Zealand.
