Whether a TR6 is "old" technology vs the "new" tech Neon (or other worthless
current econoBOX) is rather beside the point. A horsepower is still a
horsepower, and a pound of curb weight still weighs a pound . . . and a drag
race on the street is all about mid-range power to weight ratios. Highest
ratio still wins.
TR6's lost drag races to the pony cars of the early 70's, and they'll lose
drag races to their modern counterparts as well. But, as Irv points out, who
cares?
