Hi Dan
No worries about valves etc they are all closed with the rocker shaft
removed also the pushrods will just waggle about and the followers would
probably not have returned to the cam without the help of the valve springs,
not a problem. This is a good lesson to all, if I take any of my cars apart
I always leave a note for myself as to the condition of the car.
