Good advice, but be sure not to apply too much pressure to the heater core.
The common garden hose develops far more pressure (typically 40 psi,
frequently as high as 120 psi) than a TR3 heater core (designed for 4 psi)
will withstand.
BTDT, anyone want a ruined heater core ?
