Hello all, I'm about to install new semi metallic pads on my TR6 (one small item in a long to-do list); anyway, I seem to recall reading somewhere that it's a good idea to use some fine grain emory cloth on the rotors to impart some fine scratches on the surface in a radial direction so that the pads will wear in properly and not become glazed. Can anyone comment on this? Thanks. Skip Osmundsen '76 TR6 (on stands) '60 TR3 (on stands for so long they look like part of the car). |
