I honestly don't see how this is possible from under the car. If memory
serves you can't even SEE the back of the trans from underneath. It's on top
of the frame box thing that the exhaust goes thru.
However if you remove the cover, unbolt the prop shaft, unbolt the rear mount
and then raise the rear of the tranny up - my guess is it's do-able, though
probably not easy. Worth a try, as you have to do all this to pull the g-box
anyhoo.
I would probably try it and then test it out to check for leaks before I
buttoned it all back up.
