These bio's are great. Here's mine......
I was born Martin (aka Marty) Romagni, September 1952 in Cleveland Ohio.
After
a brief warm up marriage many years ago, I am now married 14 years to a
wonderful woman who indulges my LBC hobby. We have a daughter 8 (going
on 12).
Shortly after high school I had a 1970 Spitfire. I sold that car after
discovering it was a poor winter car in NE Ohio. I didn't have the money
to own
two cars, so sadly the Spit had to go. In the mean time I have owned
a 63
Chevy Impala, a 1972 Dodge Dart, an AMC Javelin, a 1968 VW bug, an
Audi, 1988
VW Scirocco along with various Mazdas, Hondas and Nissans.
A couple of years ago I re-acquired the LBC bug after seeing some of the
around. I started looking seriously at the Auburn car auction. While
there I
took pictures of MGA's and TR6's and posted them prominently on the
refrigerator so my wife could see them. After much pleading, begging and
cajoling I finally got her to agree to let me purchase a car. I found my
TR6
(the car of my dreams) at a local British car show. I bought the car in
1996
and it's been a blast ever since. My wife has warmed up significantly to
the
car, accompanying me in it as much as possible. How do I know she like
the
car? She has acquired a "car" wardrobe for travelling in it!
My other hobbies are golf and collecting antiques. I can't afford more
pastimes!
