Actually, on a TR6 MC there is one more step. You need to remove the tipping
valve which is held in place by a 1/2" Allen head nut. If you don't have a
1/2" Allen wrench, you may be able to get by using a bolt with a 1/2" head
help in vise grips or similar. But it's probably best to use the Allen
wrench.
In case you can't find it, the tipping valve is on the top of the MC (once
the reservoir is removed). But that Allen nut is hard to miss...
