Sebastian,
AS water enters your vent in front of windscreen, it runs to these short
rubber elbows and drains into the space between inner and outer wings. Along
with the water, seeds, dust, feathers, etc. build up in this space between
the inner and outer wings. This junk acts as a sponge holding the water and
causes the rust problems in front wings, rockers, sills, etc. If practical,
you may want to extend these elbows with flexible tubing exiting out the
bottom of the wings inconspicously on the frame side.
Luck, Billtr4 (gettin there)
