Hi Steve,
Not sure about the doors but if you dip the frame make sure you take the
tube brace off that runs across the front (just behind the radiator). It is
aluminum and will disappear in the dip. As for the chrome pieces WD40 or a
stronger penetrant and a bit of hammer hopefully should work.
