The alternator (or some part of the charging system) on my 76 TR6 has been staring to act strange (even for a Lucas system). The system will normal read about 13.5/14 volts with the engine running at normal speed. Then, it will drop to about 11 volts and stay there for 3 to 6 minutes. Then, it will go back up to 13.5/14 volts. Not too noticible during the day, but at night the headlights and panels lights will dim. Any suggestions? Frank '76 TR6 CF57005U |
