I can save you a trip.
I received that PPG code from you back in july, and went and got a sample
mixed.
At the time, I didn't know any better, but in the two weeks, I've uncovered
several large (both rear inner fender wells and under the stone guards - see
my web page) patches of original Ice Blue and PPG's mix isn't even close.
PPG's is a nice "robin's egg" blue. Ice blue is something undescribable.
I'm trying to work with Don Pikovnik [donp@ncweb.com] to see if we can get
the ICI mix correct. Do you have any pull with PPG to get the Triumph Ice
Blue listed? If so, perhaps we (you and I) can get PPG included too.
